Fred Wilson

Born March 31, 1935 in Laurens, SC, he was a son of the late Fred L. Sr. and Bertha Rector Wilson.
Fred was deeply loved by his immediate and extended family and his friends. He will be greatly missed. Fred worked for Azalea Mobile Homes, Clinton, SC where he was a builder and later retired from Carlisle SynTec after 25 years. Fred was very mathematically gifted and analytical. He used these skills in his work place and past times such as playing pool, remodeling his home with his wife and playing poker. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle for 37 years. Fred was of the Southern Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Linda Wilson of Carlisle, five daughters, Vicki White (and husband, Daryl) of Clinton, SC, Gail Dorn of St Petersburg, FL, Lorrie Perry (and husband, James) of Mechanicsburg, Tawnya Wilson of Carlisle and Kelli Fowler (and husband, James) of Joppa, MD, two sons, Ricky Wilson of Clinton, SC and Scott Wilson of Washington, DC, one sister, Shirley Friedenberg of Ormond Beach, FL, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Ray Wilson and one sister, Helen Hatton.
At Fred’s request, there will be no services.
