Frank M. Romito Jr., age 68, of Carlisle, passed away February 5, 2021 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital. Born April 17, 1952 in Carlisle, son of the late Frank M. Sr. and Betty (Baker) Romito.
Frank loved fishing at the local creeks in Mt Holly and saltwater fishing in Maryland, hunting, woodworking, bowling, WWE wrestling and auto racing. He worked security for many of the local racetracks. He also did policing at Mechanicsburg School District and had a hard time admitting it, but he loved to chauffer his daughter and Sam around to farm shows, rodeo’s, concerts, etc. until they got their driver’s license.
Frank enjoyed many jobs, including delivering furniture for NB Leibman, he later worked for Inclinators and most recently, worked at Home Depot.
Frank is survived by his wife of 31 years, Bonnie (Kipp) Romito, Carlisle; children, Janelle Romito, Carlisle; Kim (Don) Wise, Shippensburg; Frank “Mike” (Tammy) Romito III, Mechanicsburg; Johnny (SueAnn) Romito, Palmyra and Lisa (Matt) Wright; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Jane (Richard) Row; Lynn Sue Walters and Sharon Spahr; nephews, Matt and Kenny Walters and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary and infant brother.
A walk through viewing will be held Monday, February 15, 2021 from 6 to 8pm at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle.
As mandated by Governor Wolf maximum capacity during gatherings is restricted and you may be asked to wait at the door when you arrive until the numbers allow for your entrance.
