Frank M. Evelhoch, 89, of Carlisle died Monday, December 9, 2013 at Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
Born April 27, 1924 in Plainfield, he was a son of the late Henry Alexander and Sarah Yarlett Evelhoch and the widower of Anna Walters Evelhoch.
He was employed by C.H. Masland and Sons as a weaver for twenty-five years. And also worked for Carlisle Tire and Rubber. He was a member of First Church of God, Carlisle. Frank was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving are two sons, Frank Evelhoch II (and wife, Paula) of Mechanicsburg and Jeffrey Evelhoch (and wife, Nancy) of Wayne; five grandchildren, Fawn, Zebulin, Eric, Andrew, Darcy; and one great-granddaughter, Minka. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Evelhoch and nine brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Westminster Cemetery in the new mausoleum chapel, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle with Rev. Greg Hench officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
