Francis L. Speck

Francis L. Speck, 81, of Newville, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at his home.
Born June 23, 1929 in Grantham, he was a son of the late Francis H. and Edna Stetler Speck.
Francis was a farmer in the Newville area for many years.  He attended Grace Baptist Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Jeanne Speck of Newville; one son, David Speck (and wife, Deborah) of Newville; two daughters, Barbara Martin (and husband, Jim) of Titusville and Debra Speck of Newville; three sisters, Rosella Butler of Carlisle, Gladys Kauffman of Enola and Eloise Williams (and husband, Carl) of New Jersey and three grandchildren, Rebecca Jacobs (and husband, Bobby) of Titusville, Amy Pittroff (and husband, Phillip) of Martville, NY and John Martin of Titusville.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Speck.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Leon Blosser officiating.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
