Francis (Frankie) Martin Horstmann Jr.

Francis (Frankie) Martin Horstmann Jr., 74, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services – Carlisle.
He was born October 13, 1946 in New York City, NY to the late Francis Martin Sr. and Edna (Bauer) Horstmann and was treated as a son by his late Aunt and Uncle E. Thomas and Margaret Bauer.
Francis is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Marion Gail (Webster) Horstmann; one sister, Jean Horstmann Regar of Collegeville; three brothers, Thomas Horstmann of Harrisburg, James (wife Lauren) Horstmann of Centreville, VA, and Richard (wife Linda) Horstmann of Yuma, AZ; six nieces and nephews, Jacquelyn Horstmann Didio, Emily Thompson, Bethany Horstmann, Erich Francis Regar, Dustin James Regar, and Olivia Jean Regar; and cousins, Janet Bauer Harding, Mark Bauer, Jack Horstmann, Peter Horstmann, Rosemary Kennedy and Patricia Heaphy. In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by his cousin, Gary Horstmann.
Frankie was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and devoted husband to his wife of over 30 years, Marion. He loved following sports, playing board games (of all sorts), family events and holidays, Johnny Cash music (especially the Folsom Prison recording) and a good pizza. Frankie was a kind soul and friend to all who took the time to get to know him.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Letort Cemetery, Carlisle.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Francis, to The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties, 71 Ashland Drive Carlisle, PA 17013.
