Francis Dominic “Frank” Tallarico, 80, of Carlisle and formerly of Chicago, IL and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his residence.
He was born February 22, 1940 in Chicago, IL to the late Dominic and Eleanor (Casper) Tallarico.
Frank graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from Bradley University in 1962 where he was a proud Sigma Chi. He honorably served his country in the Air Force Reserve. Frank was the owner of Novelty Sales, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for more than thirty years. Family was everything to Frank, followed closely by food. He was a gifted cook who enjoyed spending time cooking for others, especially celebrating holidays and all things Italian with those he loved. Frank also loved music and often tried to experience it live, at the opera, a blues or jazz club, or any venue he could find. He was known as the family historian and enjoyed studying history, especially the Civil War and Native American history. Frank enjoyed travel, both exploring areas around him and visiting family in Italy where his heart was the happiest. He will be remembered as a very loving, thoughtful, and generous man who always put the needs of others before his own.
