Frances P. Mountz

Frances P. Mountz, 86, of Carlisle, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born November 2, 1924 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late William and Mary Fahnstock Stotler and the widow of Leo F. Mountz.
She retired from Kinney Shoe, Carlisle. She volunteered frequently at the Salvation Army, Carlisle.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Mountz (and wife, Linda) of Mt. Holly Springs, Ricky L. Mountz (and wife, Donna) of DE and Randy Mountz (and wife, Ann) of Gardners; one daughter Marilyn DeWalt of CA; one brother, Bill Stotler of Carlisle; one sister, Florence Armolt of Carlisle; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Wayne, Leo R. and Gary F. Mountz.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in St. Peters Lutheran (Brick Church) Cemetery, Newville. A viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
