Florence I. Clark, 86, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born March 27, 1926 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Sara C. Bentzel Wolfe and the widow of Major Thaddeus J. Clark (USA, Ret.).
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1943. Irene was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda K. Russell of Raeford, NC and Donna L. Thomas of Dillsburg; two grandchildren, Joseph L. Koproski of Fayetteville, NC and Rachel L. Jarabeck of Mechanicsburg and one great-grandson, Adam Clark Jarabeck; one brother, Ronald C. Wolfe of Gardners. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald I. Wolfe and Leon B. Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 West Louther Street, Carlisle with Rev. Carol Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
