Evelyn R. Barrick

Evelyn R. (Sheriff) Barrick, age 94 of Carlisle died from COVID-19 on December 26, 2020. Evelyn was a resident of Church of God Home. Born December 18, 1926 in North Middleton Township, daughter of the late Frank P. and Margaret E. (Morton) Sheriff. Evelyn was the widow of Calvin A. Barrick Jr., who died April 22, 1993. Evelyn and Calvin were married 47 years.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her son, Terry L. Barrick; daughters, Kay W. Piper and Verna J. Dagan and grandson, Ian P. Dagan.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy A. Waggoner (Robert), Newville and Vera J. Egolf (Robert) and son, Randy W. Barrick (Betty), both of Carlisle, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Evelyn drove school bus for Capital Area Intermediate unit with 23 years of service before her retirement in 1991. She attended Middlesex United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, bus trips, steam engine shows and bluegrass festivals.

Graveside service will be held at 10am Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Westminster Cemetery.
