Evelyn L. Finfrock

Evelyn L. Finfrock, 84, of Carlisle died, January 26, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.
Born September 7, 1926 in Summerhill, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Parker Chapman and the widow of James E. Finfrock, Jr.
She was an Avon Representative in 1960’s and later was employed by Kings Department Store, Gettysburg. She attended the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Carlisle, where as one of Jehovah Witness’s she did much of the ministry work. Evelyn enjoyed reading, baking in her free time. She was a very devoted wife who greatly missed her husband of 64 years.
Surviving are one son, Mark Finfrock of Wormleysburg, one daughter, Karen McFerren of Boiling Springs, one brother, George Chapman of Rochester, NY, one sister, Mae Rose Simala of Lorain, OH and two grandchildren, Dawn and Shelley McFerren, both of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jakob Finfrock and Patrick McFerren, one sister, Florence Hobbs and one brother, William Chapman.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Robert Dunlap officiating.
