Eugene Manuel Stockton-Juarez, 23, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his parent's residence.
He was born in Harrisburg, PA on March 1, 1992 to Jaime R. Juarez and Sharon M. Stockton.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle. He had received a full academic scholarship to the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and followed it up by attending Shippensburg University, PA. Eugene enjoyed his music, hiking, reading and arguing over philosophy. His family meant the most to him.
He is survived by his loving parents; two sisters, Cristina A. and Katherine G. Stockton-Juarez, both of Carlisle; maternal grandparents, Gene and Jan Stockton of Silverdale, WA; two uncles, Dr. Jesus Juarez of Fresno, CA and Jose Juarez of Ventura, CA; and one aunt, Velia Juarez of Del Rey, CA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Guadalupe Juarez and an uncle, Juan Manuel Juarez.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2015 at St. Patrick Shrine Church, 152 E. Pomfret Street, Carlisle with Rev. Father William C. Forrey officiating. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends will be received following the Memorial Mass.
