Ethel S. Boyd

Ethel S. Boyd, 97, of Center Valley, PA passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Sacred Heart Senior Living.

Born on July 27, 1921 in Palmyra, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Edna (Teahl) Steckman.

Ethel was a caring and giving woman with a kind and gentle heart. She was a hard worker, avid reader, enjoyed going on walks and had a unique sense of humor. She was especially dedicated to and loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Michael (Michelle) of Center Valley, PA and Gary (Chris) of Marlboro, NY; grandchildren, Tyler, Eric, Garrett, Lia, Megan, Michael (fiancé Kate McCoy) and James; great-grandchildren, Emery and Gabriel; and siblings, Bob Steckman of Colorado and Arlene Reider of Palmyra, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Creedon Boyd.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens with Angela Clough as Celebrant.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
