Esther I. Myers

Esther I. "Essie" Myers, 68, of Carlisle died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Forest Park Health Care Center, Carlisle.
Born September 17, 1945 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Gerald W. W. and Clara May Railing Kuhn.
She was a former employee at Ross Distribution, Carlisle. Essie was an avid Bingo player and loved computer games. She enjoyed the time she spent with her loving family, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Richard G. Myers; one daughter, Tana M. Cassell (and husband, Jacob) of Carlisle; one son, Richard G. Myers, Jr of Carlisle; one sister, Alma Boldosser (and husband, Lloyd) of Carlisle; three grandchildren: April Morrison, Christopher Geib, and Cristina Reed; eight great-grandchildren: Collin, Landon, Dekota, Kaeleb, Kassidy, Christian, Brent, and Mya. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Walter, Paul, Joe, And Calvin Railing and two sisters: Anna Mary Dietz and Dorothy Carpenter.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Ralph C. Fisher, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
