Eric Scott Dittenhafer

Eric Scott Dittenhafer, age 48, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2015.
He was born in York, PA on October 3, 1966 to the late Clarence Albert Dittenhafer and Jackolyn Rae Hutchins Dittenhafer.
Eric was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Class of 1984, Shippensburg University, where he received his B.S. and Master's degrees, and currently attended HACC. He previously worked at Ingersoll Rand and New Holland Agriculture. He enjoyed landscaping around the house, taking college classes to better himself, watching professional sports, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and taking care of the family dog, Blaze.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three brothers, Jeffrey B. (and wife Rebecca) Dittenhafer of Pequea, PA, Christopher M. (and partner Larry) Dittenhafer of San Francisco, CA and Rodney D. (and wife Trish) Dittenhafer of Ashland, MA; nephews, Austin and Logan Dittenhafer; and nieces, Ava and Leah Dittenhafer.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 with Rev. Daniel Dennis officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
