Eric L. Kinter

Eric Kinter, 92, passed on June 24, 2024. A graduate of Lemoyne High School, Eric joined the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Eric spent almost his entire career living and working in the Washington, DC metro area. He and his wife were active in their community and especially active in their church. He “retired” several times and finished his consulting career in 2017, when he moved back to Lemoyne, PA. Anyone that knew Eric, knew his first love was the Lord and his family, knew he was very sociable, loved his consulting jobs, enjoyed traveling, and never met a stranger. God blessed him and gave him a wonderful family and a long life. Eric is preceded in death by his wife in 1988. He is survived by his four loving children, and his four grandchildren. As well as a brother-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews, plus a multitude of friends worldwide. The times he spent with his kids and grandkids were his most cherished time. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with a viewing from 10 to 11 AM, service from 11 AM to Noon, and then burial will follow at Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry, PA. To celebrate Eric’s remarkable and incredible life, Eric’s wishes were that any donations may be made to a charity of your choice, and/or plant a tree in his memory.
