Eric Dean Willhide

Eric Dean Willhide, age 68, of New Cumberland, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Hospice Center in the Lebanon VA Hospital with his loving family at his side.
He was born in Carlisle, PA on December 31, 1947 to the late Dean D. and Romayne Marie Hollinger Willhide.
Eric retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot after 30 years of service. He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Conflict from March 1964 to July 1969. He was a former member of the New Cumberland VFW Post 7415. Eric loved to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his loving companion, his dog "Buddha".
He is survived by his sister, Virginia" Ginny" (and husband Gil) Guernsey of Carlisle; four nieces and a nephew.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, PA.
The family requests that in lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care at the Lebanon VA Hospital, 1700 S. Lincoln St. Lebanon, PA 17042.
