Elsie G. Hannon

Elsie G. Hannon, 77, of Carlisle and formerly of Ickesburg, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at UPMC Carlisle.
She was born February 1, 1944, in Snyder County to the late Wilmer and Nora (McNaughton) Landis.
Elsie was a very generous, loving, caring woman who would do anything to help anyone. She used to enjoy doing volunteer work for Toys 4 Tots. Elsie’s family said she was a pistol and she went out with a bang.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Cristal (Clark) Mouele of Novi, MI and Jenelle (Clark) Parrish of Carlisle; two siblings, Eugena (husband Heath) Drader of Toano, VA and Ralph (wife Patsy) Ricedorf of Eschol; four grandchildren, Kara Clark of Carlisle, Travis (wife Samantha) Clark of Hillsdale, NY, Brandon (wife Audrey) Woodmansee of Milford, MI, and Shaina Woodmansee of Novi, MI; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Faye Clark and Simon Woodmansee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Landis.
A memorial service celebrating Elsie’s life will be announced at a later date.
