Elma M. Woods

Elma M. Woods, 85, of Carlisle, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1928 in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Verna Laughery Crull. Elma was one of three sets of twins born to Oscar and Verna.
She worked for McCoy Electronics, CH Masland, Carlisle Hospital and Keisers Eletronics. Elma was a member of AARP, Salvation Army, and Bethel Assembly of God Church, Carlisle. Elma was a member of the Carlisle Chapter of T.O.P.S.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-six years, Paul H. Woods of Carlisle; one son, Mark Woods (and wife, Kelly) of Carlisle; five daughters, Lisa Hair (and husband, Steve) of Carlisle, Margaret Hummel (and husband, Donald) of Carlisle, Barbara Rothermel (and husband, Richard) of Millersburg, Kathleen Dillman (and husband, Gary) of Carlisle and Elizabeth Ann Mellott (and husband, Jack) of Gardners; three sisters, Mabel Mackey of Carlisle, Ruth Stambaugh of Carlisle and Erma Finkenbinder (twin sister) of Carlisle; one brother, Jack Crull of Carlisle; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister, Evelyn Smith and three brothers, Lee, Joseph and Fred Crull.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Chuck Kish officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at the funeral home.
