Ella Marie Zimmerman Heishman

Ella Marie Zimmerman Heishman, age 76, of Dillsburg, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Elmcroft of Shippensburg.
She was born October 15, 1939 in Carlisle to the late Howard Milton and Kathleen (Baker) Zimmerman. Ella was a 1957 graduate of Boiling Springs High School. She retired in 2006 as the bakery supervisor at Ashcombe Farms after 16 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crafts, puzzles, baking pies and cooking meals and especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children, Michael L. (and wife Vickie) Heishman of Carlisle, Debra L. Heishman of Mt. Holly Springs, David A. (and wife Cheryl) Heishman of Mechanicsburg and Mark H. (and wife Janie) Heishman of Dillsburg; four grandchildren, Danielle, Sean, Clinton and Beth; two great-grandsons, Landon and Glenn; a sister, Joyce (and husband Hugh) Dyarman of Carlisle; and a brother, Charles (and wife Linda) Zimmerman of Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle with Rev. Glenn Gross officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
