Ella Jane Houseman

Ella Jane Houseman, 79 of Mechanicsburg, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at her home.
Born August 30, 1932 in Blacklick Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Stella Santisan Pillock and the widow of Albert Walter Houseman.
She was a graduate of Nanty-Glo High School. Ella was co-founder and co-owner of Houseman Metals of Carlisle. She was a member of Hickorytown United Methodist Church. She belonged to the Mechanicsburg Senior Center.
Surviving are five children, Albert Walter Houseman, Jr. of Carlisle, Joseph Frank Houseman of Newville, Karen Lynn Nailor of Mechanicsburg, Debra Jane Collings of Mechanicsburg, and Vicki Marie Kohls of Mechanicsburg; one brother, Harry Pillock of Colonial Park; three sisters, Stella Ross of Blairsville, Eilene Michaels of St. Benedict, and Alice Strasser of Falling Water, WV; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lee Gallagher.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
