Elizabeth J. Gammie

Elizabeth J. Gammie, 88, of Boiling Springs, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in Baltimore, MD May 15, 1926 to the late Frank R. and Thomasine Riley Snowden and was the widow of George B. Gammie who died in 2001 after forty-nine years of marriage.
She retired from the Stella Maris Hospice in Cockeysville, MD. She received a nursing degree from the University of Maryland. Elizabeth was an avid quilter for many years, enjoyed basket weaving, reading, and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa J. Gammie of Boiling Springs; a son, Christopher B. Gammie of Thurmont, MD; and two granddaughters, Jessica L. Witt (and husband Daniel) and Christine N. Gammie.
Upon Elizabeth's request there will be no viewing or services.
