Elisabeth Louise Schultz

Elisabeth L. Schultz, 28, of Carlisle died suddenly on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Elisabeth was born in Carlisle on April 23, 1984. She attended the Carlisle Area Public Schools and graduated in 2005 from the Devereux Foundation Kanner Learning Center, West Chester, PA. She was employed until recently at CPARC's Pollock Center for Industrial Training in Mechanicsburg. Elisabeth was a member of First United Church of Christ in Carlisle. She was a resident at the H.A.P., Inc. Fry Loop group home for the past seven years. She was active in the Aurora Club.

In addition to her parents Sandra L. Morris (Gregory Gable) of Lititz and Lynn R. Schultz (Karen) of Carlisle, she is survived by her sister Sarah Schultz Gibbons (Bud) and niece Maia Gibbons, Ridley Park, PA; maternal grandfather Robert B. Morris, Evanston, IL; paternal grandparents Raymond and Ella Schultz, Marionville, MO; one aunt, Jane Morris (Bryan Raines) Mesa, AZ; four uncles, Rolf Morris, Boulder, CO; John Schultz (Pam) Sun City West, AZ; Paul Schultz (Jan) Poway, CA; Mark Schultz (Andrea) Billings, MO; and eight cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Louise S. Morris and uncle, Paul S. Morris.

Elisabeth will be lovingly missed and remembered for her beautiful, sunshine smile, sense of humor, and sensitivity and concern for others.

A memorial service will be held at First United Church of Christ, 30 N. Pitt Street, Carlisle on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:30am with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Lush officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church one hour before the service.
