Edna M. Barrick, 83, of Carlisle, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Born March 1, 1931 in Good Hope Mills, PA, a daughter of the late Floyd J. and Ruth I. Humes Grissinger and the widow of Mervin C. Barrick.
She was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. She and her husband, Mervin operated the former Barrick's Sunoco Station in Carlisle. She was an avid reader and loved her dogs.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth A. Barrick of Fairbanks, AK; a daughter, Terri Blosser (and husband, Jeffory) of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Lorie Blosser and Timothy Blosser (and wife, Angela); and one great-grandson, Benjamin Blosser. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman J. and Floyd, Jr. Grissinger and two sisters, Bertha Krone and Anna Lee Wonders.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Chaplain Bradley V. Moore officiating. Private interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown. A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
