Edna D. Morrow

Edna D. Morrow, 72, of Carlisle died Monday, November 4, 2013 at her home.
Born July 31, 1941 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence Fisher Lohman and the widow of Deemer L. Morrow, Sr.
She retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of the Eagle Aerie 1299, Carlisle. Edna was a member of the Wesleyan Church of the Cross, Carlisle. She enjoyed flower gardening and designing garden landscapes. Also spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are one daughter Tammy L. Book (and husband, Rodney) of Mechanicsburg; one son, Deemer L. Morrow, Jr. (and wife, Michele) of Carlisle; two brothers, Richard Lohman (and wife, Cindy) of Virginia Beach, VA and John Lohman (and wife, Janet) of Lebanon; one sister, Margaret Fry (and husband, Melvin) of Carlisle. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Kevin Sheesley, Kelsea Morrow, Kristin Reese, Mason Morrow, Alexander Book, Derek Book, and Adrienne Book.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Daniel Mikesell officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
