Edith M. Blouvet

Edith M. Blouvet, age 91, formerly of Carlisle, PA passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at her home in Crestview, FL. She was born May 16, 1931, in West Clarksville, NY to the late Leon Herbert and Helen Minerva (Sisson) Greene.

Edith had worked as a Home Health Aide retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Great Hope Baptist Church in Carlisle where she often volunteered her time. Edith enjoyed needle point, word puzzles, picture puzzles and reading her bible.

She is survived by her children Linda Williams and her husband Steve of Ocala, FL, Barbara McDonald of Bellevue, NE and Ralph Blouvet of Colorado Springs, CO and sister Cora Greene of Grand Rapids, MI. Edith is also survived by six grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her late parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Blouvet, brothers Harold and Clarence Greene and sisters Hazel Chaney and Lora Peterson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30AM until service time. Interment will be private at the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
