Earl Boehm Austin

Earl Boehm Austin, age 60, of Newville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born October 16, 1955 in Baltimore, MD to the late Earl B., Sr. and Gloria Marie (Dean) Austin.
He was adopted and raised by the late Michael Kolessar and Audrey Kolessar of Maryland.
He graduated in 1974 from Catonsville Senior High School in Baltimore, MD. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, nature walks, puzzles and listening to classic rock music. He loved cats and dogs and was a great cook. You'll remember Earl as a cook at Scalles and Snapper's Restaurants.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cathy S. (Nailor) Austin; four children, Angie Turner of Shermans Dale, Krystle Wilson of Newville, Michael Wilson of Newville, and Amanda Austin of Pottstown; brother, Robert Austin; sister, Debra Austin; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded by a brother, William Austin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Plainfield First Church of God, 2089 Newville Road, Plainfield, PA with Pastor Kevin Dunlap officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Plainfield First Church of God, 2089 Newville Road, Plainfield, PA 17081 to help defray funeral expenses.
Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA is handling the arrangements.
