Dr. Ernest John Grabiec

Dr. Ernest John Grabiec, 81 of Carlisle, died July 22, 2011 in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.

Born August 26, 1929 in Scranton, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Novak Grabiec.

Dr. Grabiec attended Fordham University, was a graduate of Scranton University with a bachelors degree and received his D.D.S. from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Ernest was dentist his entire life. He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Regina Grabiec, two sons, Ltc. Alexander Grabiec and his wife Karen, Liverpool and Joseph Grabiec, Carlisle, a daughter, Jennifer Hann, Millerstown. He is also survived by a sister, Dorothy November, Gahanna, OH and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with the Rev. Tim Wheeler officiating. There will be a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle.
