Douglas A. Mcclintock

Douglas A. McClintock, 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born April 12, 1954, in Carlisle to the late Archie and Mary (Barrick) McClintock.

Doug was a 1972 graduate of Big Spring High School. He was employed for 33 years at C.H. Masland and Son / Leer before his eventual retirement. Doug was a member of Great Hope Baptist Church and a former volunteer firefighter at Cumberland Fire Company. He was a collector of trains and Star Wars movies and memorabilia.

Doug is survived by one sister, Diane (husband George) Herman of Boiling Springs; one brother, Donald (wife Jo Marie) McClintock of Carlisle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Duane McClintock.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
