Dorothy May Weigle

Dorothy May Weigle, age 85, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Norman Weigle.
She was born June 25, 1933 in North Middleton Township, the daughter of the late Emerson Miller and Ethel (Brown) Miller.
Dorothy enjoyed walking and going to the gym, word search books and liked sewing. She retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber after 28 years of service.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Grant W. (wife-Donna) Morrison Jr. of Dover DE, Terrie Lea (husband-Donnie) Eppley, Scott A. (wife-Doras Ann) Morrison, and Emerson A. Morrison all of Carlisle, PA, six grandchildren: Shawn Morrison, Christopher Morrison, Matthew Morrison, Jason Palmer, Stephanie Eppley-Shepherd, and Heather Morrison, 11 great-grandchildren: Christian, Cameron, Elena, Harper, Zoden, Ziya, Matthew, Madison, Ava, Blake and Audrey, a dear friend, Barbara Kistler, seven brothers and sisters: Ruth Morrison, Clifford Miller, Cloyd Miller, Alvin Miller, Delores Schrader, Velma Shughart-Caldwell, and Pamela Monismith, all of Carlisle,, and three step-children: Patty Minnich and Ruth Ann Shughart both of Carlisle, and Leroy Weigle of Shermansdale, PA. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
