Dorothy L. Good

Dorothy L. Good, 82 of Carlisle, died Friday December 7, 2012 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born March 6, 1930 in Robesonia, the daughter of the late George and Hattie Fox Schwartz.
Mrs. Good retired from the former JC Wentzel & and Sons Vending Service where she worked in the lunchroom at Carlisle Syntec. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. Dorothy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle and the Moose Lodge 761, Carlisle. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family and always put their needs first.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Samuel J. Good Jr., two daughters, Linda Porter, Carlisle and Debbie Nieves and her husband Isreal, Biglerville, a son, Michael Good and his wife Barbara, Carlisle, two sisters, Mary Alice Gromis and Jean Fischer, both of Robesonia, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, June Pottieger and Thelma Clouser and a brother, Joseph Schwartz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday December 11, 2012 in the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle with the Rev. Timothy Sadler and Carol Bowman co-officiating. Burial will be in Heidleberg Cemetery, Robesonia at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday December 12, 2012. There will be a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle and from 10:00 am Tuesday in the church until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle PA 17013
