Doris R. Weibley

Doris R. Weibley, 89, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in her home while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 4, 1929 in Carlisle to the late Lee H. and Alice A. (Ilgenfritz) Myers and she was the widow of William W. Weibley.
Doris enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and above all her family. She was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School. Doris worked as a waitress in many area restaurants, at Town and Country Department Store and later retired from K Mart. She formerly attended Brethren In Christ Church and later received pastoral care from the staff of the Meeting House.
Doris is survived by two sons, Donald Orth (friend Debora) and Larry (wife Deb) Weibley both of Carlisle; four daughters, Judy Gutshall of Loysville, Linda L. Apodasa of California, Alice (husband Marlon) Hipp of Greencastle, and Deborah Stackfield of Carlisle; one brother, Larry Myers of Carlisle; thirteen grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, William W. Weibley Jr.; and one sister, Shirley Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Bob Verno officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery, Loysville. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
