Doris Helga Gatterer

Doris Helga Gatterer, 48, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on September 12, 1966 in Schillingsfurst Landkreis, Ansbach, Germany to Hans Heinrich Gatterer and Anna Gatterer Drescher.
She was proud of her children and their service to their Country. She loved knitting, crocheting, gardening and loved to go to Zumba. She was a passionate animal lover.
In addition to her parents, Doris is survived by three children, Daniel Thomas Little (and wife Amiee) and their children, Zoey Little and Gideon Little, all of Ft. Benning, Georgia; daughter Sarah Ann Little of Chicago, Illinois and Andrew Marc Little (and wife Sierra) and their daughter Ava Little all of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Also surviving are one brother, Thomas Gatterer of Germany, two sisters Andrea Freeman and Daniela Dobel, both of Germany.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA, is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
