Doris A. Fraker

Doris A. Fraker, 91, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Chapel Pointe. 

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hilda (Keller) Arnold and wife of the late Harold S. Fraker, who passed in 2018.

Doris was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1950. She was a member of Wellspring Wesleyan Church, where she was active in the music ministry and also sang in the choir and was active in the Wesleyan Women Ministry.

Doris enjoyed reading and baking and was known for her fudge and pies.

Survivors include her children: Cheryl Sipe, her husband, Barry, Harold S. Fraker, Jr., Thomas A. Fraker, his wife, Diana and Ann Stewart, her husband, Scott, all of Carlisle; her grandchildren: Christopher Sipe, his wife, Lucy, Heather Rohrbaugh, her husband, Tim, Jennifer Swartz, her husband, John, Matthew Fraker, his partner, Jason Ferrell, Ami Gallo, her husband, Geoff, Heidi Weston, her husband, Brad, Michele Washburn and Thomas Fraker, Jr. as well as her 14 great grandchildren.  Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Davis.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings: Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle and Wednesday, February 21, from 10 to 11 am at Wellspring Wesleyan Church, 430 B Street, Carlisle. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the church following the morning viewing. Interment will follow the service in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
