Donald Lee Walker

Donald “Huck” Lee Walker, 69, of Boiling Springs, died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home.

Don, fondly known as “Huck”, was born to the late Stuart and Miriam Walker, on August 19, 1954, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

He graduated from Carlisle High School in 1972.   Shortly after high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he was honorably discharged in 1976 with the rank of Sergeant.  He always looked back on these years proudly and fondly as he made life-long friends in the Marines.

After his military service he began a career driving tractor trailer until his accident in 1988.  The years after, he resided in Boiling Springs with his family.

Having an active interest in cars in his youth, he became an avid car aficionado, owning a 1934 Ford.  He attended many car shows and cruise-ins with friends and family through the years making many friends.  He is a proud member of the Blue Moon Cruisers, along with Goodguys and NSRA.

Don is survived by his son, Justin Walker, and wife, Faith, along with two grandchildren, Quinten and Alexis Walker.   He is also survived by his longtime companion, Terry Jones and brother, John Walker. 

Don was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Walker; son, Scott Walker, and sister, Sherry Walker.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration Service 12:00pm Friday, February 16, 2024, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
