Donald L. Young

Donald L Young, 76 of Carlisle died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Manor Care of Carlisle.
He was born April 15, 1942 in Carlisle to the late Guy L. and Emma (March) Young.
Donnie was a retired, self employed taxidermist. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and wildlife. Donald lived in Montana for fifteen years, while there he practiced his trade as a taxidermist. He enjoyed socializing with friends during his daily breakfast at the Carlisle Farmer’s Market.
Donald is survived by three sons, Daryl L. (wife Christine) Young of Camp Hill, Roger D. (wife Kris) Young of Carlisle and Kevin A. (wife Wendy) Young of Newville; one brother, Glenn (wife Marty) Young of West Virginia; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday May 14, 2018 at the New Hope Church of God, 1250 Waggoners Gap Rd. Carlisle, PA with the Pastor Dick Warner officiating. There will be a visitation on Monday at the church from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
