Donald Gerald Clark

Donald Gerald Clark Sr., age 77, of Carlisle, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 26, 1940 in Gardners, PA the son of the late Rev. Lawrence Henry Clark and Laura (Ettein) Clark. On December 1, 1962 he married Frances Rickroad.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a foreman in the railmill department. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and a former member of the American Legion. He enjoyed working on his muscle car, and time spent hunting and fishing. He loved walking his dogs, Cookie, Dalilia, and Cody. Most of all, he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Frances Clark, of Carlisle, a son: Donald Gerald (wife-Kathleen) Clark Jr. of Carlisle, three daughters: Dale Esther (husband-James) Dougherty, of Carlisle, Wendy Elizabeth (husband-Tom) Zimmerman of Carlisle, and Bobbi Lynn (partner-Scott Therault) Hewitt of Ohio, seven grandchildren: Stevie, Josh, Karisa, Michael, Phillip, Bridger, Zachary, four great-grandchildren: Olivia, Leland, Ellie and Devin, two sisters: Ruth Haskins of Saint Augustine, FL and Beverly Mellott of Gardners, PA. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
