Donald E. Durf, 66, of Gardners, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.
He was born October 30, 1954, in Carlisle to the late Clarence and Rosie (Richwine) Durf.
Don enjoyed his work and his co-workers during his time of employment at Carlisle Tire and Wheel. He was a selfless man who would always do what he could to help others. Donald enjoyed shopping, listening to oldies and classic country music, and was a lover of all animals. He also liked spending time outdoors, especially when he was hunting and fishing. Don loved his family and always enjoyed the time he could spend with them.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Rosemary A. (Stott) Durf of Gardners; two children, Nicholas E. Durf and Jennifer E. Durf both of Gardners; three granddaughters, Payton, Savannah, and Yuki; eight siblings, Marie Rickrode, Mary DeHoff, Cynthia Motter, Robert Durf, Daniel Durf, Lenny Durf, Leroy Durf, and Joseph Durf; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Durf and two nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 to help defray the cost of the funeral.
