Donald E. Baker

Donald E. Baker, 70, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle.

He was born February 11, 1953, in Carlisle to the late Lawrence Eugene and Betty Ann (Weigle) Baker.

Donald was a graduate of Carlisle High School with the class of 1972. He honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Donald enjoyed fishing, woodworking, knife making, and Civil War history. He loved taking family trips to Gettysburg to tour the battlefields. Donald was a longtime employee of Pennsylvania Dutch Candy Company.

He is survived by his two daughters, Janelle L. Baker of Halifax and Jessica L. Bowersox of Carlisle; his sister, Debra A. Baker of Carlisle; and one granddaughter, Myelyn Bowersox of Carlisle.

A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donald to American Legion Post 674, 601 West Pine Street Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
