Don Elliot Newman

Don Elliot Newman, age 61, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on March 12, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on March 7, 1955 in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Dean Newman and Doris Newman of OH.
Don honorably served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (and husband Jeff) Strayer of Loysville; a sister, Donna Newman of OH; three grandchildren, Thomas McCreary, Damon Strayer and Dakota McCreary, all of Loysville; and a great-granddaughter, Maddalyn McCreary.
Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg, 1101 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103, Attn: Veterans Programs & Services.
