Dolores Ryan

Dolores Mae Ryan, 90 a resident of Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, went peacefully on Saturday December 24, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior at Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born October 7, 1921 in Philadelphia , PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Woods Stein and the widow of Vincent James Ryan.
Dolores was a resident of Cumberland Crossings for almost 20 years, where she was an active volunteer with residents in the assisted living and personal care. She was a very active member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church community. She enjoyed spending her free time cross stitching.
Surviving are a daughter, Eileen DiRienzo and her husband James, Prescott, AZ, four sons, Donald, Carlisle, Gerald and his wife Helen, Summerville, SC, Kenneth and his wife Linda, Newville and James and his wife Shelley, Carlisle, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2011 in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Marsh Drive, Carlisle with the Rev. William C. Forrey as celebrant. Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service in the church.
