Dolores Peterson

Dolores “Doe” Peterson, 87, of Carlisle, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg.
Born February 28, 1924 in Toledo, OH, she was a daughter of the late Dominick Joseph and Gertrude Schoen Farrell and the widow of Jack Douglas Peterson.
Doe was always eager to try new things and was a friend to everyone. She was a woman of deep devotion to God and was a great supporter of World Missions.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas Alan Peterson (and wife, Linda) of Delaware, OH and Brent Charles Arthur Peterson (and wife, Janet) of Norwalk, OH; one daughter, Joellen “Jill” Placeway (and husband, Timothy) of Elizabethtown, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, 770 South Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Douglas Alan Peterson and Rev. Timothy Placeway co-officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
