Dolores J. (Bunny) Drews

Dolores J. "Bunny" Drews, 83, of Boiling Springs died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born March 24, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Norbert and Esther Muelke Hilbrecht.
Bunny completed her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She also held several responsible administrative positions in the insurance and real estate industries in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. However, her greatest joys in life revolved around her marriage and her children. She was a committed and involved member of the churches that she has belonged to in her life including twenty plus active years at the US Army War College Chapel and, more recently, the Second Presbyterian Church of Carlisle. She was also an enthusiastic member of several women's organizations, including the Carlisle Newcomers Club of which she was a past president for consecutive terms. She enjoyed walking during her adult life and was an excellent dancer in social settings.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Frederick R. Drews of Boiling Springs; three children, Mark F. Drews (and wife, Angelina) and their children, Canaan Drews and David Drews and his son, Camden, all of North Carolina; Kathy Casadonte (and husband, Paul) and their children, Tim, Matt, and Joey Casadonte, all of North Carolina; and Paul M. Drews of Selinsgrove.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle with Rev. Jennifer J. McKenna officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive Carlisle, PA 17013.
