Djibo Abdou, 41, of Camp Hill passed away August 22, 2018 at Geisinger/Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. He was born December 30, 1976 in Niamey, Niger (Africa) to
Abdou Goungou and Amaria Bagna. He was preceded in death by his father, Abdou Goungou, and his brother, Muhamadou Goungou Abdou.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Felty, son Ali, mother, Amaria Bagna, and many sisters and brothers.
Djibo graduated from Lycee Bosso school in Niamey. He was an avid soccer fan whose favorite team was Manchester City. He enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and a variety of other sports. He worked in business in Niger. After coming to the United States, he worked in a variety of jobs and recently began a welding course in Hanover, PA. Djibo lived his life with passion and joy. He loved his family dearly, was kind and generous with others, and very devoted to his Muslim faith.
An Islamic service of remembrance and prayers was held in Carlisle on Friday August 24, 2018. Interment and Burial followed at the Peace Center.
