Diane M. Hagan

Diane M. Hagan, 74, of Newville, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Green Ridge Village.

She was born May 11, 1949, in Cleveland, OH to the late George and June (Palmer) Kopin.

Diane loved animals, dragons, horror movies, and crocheting. She worked for many years as a CNA in area nursing homes until she eventually retired from Forrest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In her retirement she briefly worked for Target. Diane always made time for family and was always happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her three loving children, Dianna M. (husband Melvin) Albert of Mt. Joy, Sharon Walters of Chambersburg, and Larry (wife Stephanie) Hershey of Newville; one sister, Carol (husband William) Lambert of Lake Placid, FL; ten grandchildren, Devon, Owen, Cole, Hank, Sierra, Stephanie, Ashley, Jay, Austin (wife Abby), Damien, and Shania; and two great-grandsons, Roman and Colson. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Greenawalt; three sisters, Gloria Bittner, Debra Lilley, and Sharon Shaner; and one grandson, Shaundavid.

A private celebration of Diane's life will be held at the convenience of her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 to assist with her funeral expenses.
