Derwin U. Futch

Derwin U. Futch, age 50, of Mechanicsburg, passed away May 23, 2021 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital, with his family by his side. Born October 9, 1970 in South Bend, IN, son of Paul T. and Gwendolyn (Smith) Futch.
Derwin was a Customer Experience Associate in the MDU Bulk Center of Excellence at Xfinity and a baptized member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid sports fan for the Phillies, 76ers, Eagles and Notre Dame but his biggest love in life was all his family.
Derwin is survived by his mother; daughters, Gabrelle Alexies Futch, Sierra Nicole Futch and Arianna Michelle Futch; step-children Michael M. Bly and Kayla Kiara Bly; brother, Donald Futch and sister, Paula Futch and a host of other family members.
Derwin is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Laddie and Neva Futch and maternal grandparents, Walter L. Sr and Daisy Alberta (Moore) Smith.
Family will receive friends on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle from 11:00am until time of home going service at 12:30pm. Melvin Baber of Friendship Baptist Church will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association 2002 Clipper Park Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211.
