Denver L. "Pete" Tuckey Jr.

Denver L. “Pete” Tuckey Jr., 65, of Newville, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home.
He was born April 10, 1954 in Mechanicsburg to Denver L. and Gayle (Deckman) Tuckey.
Pete graduated from Big Spring High School with the class of 1972. He devoted his life to his family, his work and golf.
In addition to his parents, Pete is survived by two brothers, Kenneth (wife Marsha) Tuckey and Michael (wife Becky) Tuckey both of Carlisle; four nieces and nephews, Matthew (wife Kristin) Tuckey, Brian Tuckey, Julie Tuckey and Nathan (wife Justine) Tuckey all of Carlisle; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Amy Moreno officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Westminster Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc., 7790 Grayson Road Harrisburg, PA 17111.
