Dennis W. Adams

Dennis W. Adams, 74, of Carlisle passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Forest Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.

Born on April 6, 1945 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Wilson E. and Arlene L. (Walters) Adams.

Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. He was a three-man letterman in football, wrestling and track. He was a member of the Mt. Holly Church of God and an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

Dennis is survived by his brother, Don Bair (wife Lucy) of Mechanicsburg; sister, Sandy Miceli (husband Ronnie) of Cottondale, AL; ten nieces and nephews; faithful friend Violet Darhower; and his loving niece and nephew, Mark and Crystal Hull who took great care of Dennis over the past several years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’ name to his church, Mt. Holly Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
