Dennis Lee Killinger, 59, of Carlisle, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his home.
Born May 21, 1955 in Carlisle, a son of the late Cloyd Arthur and Elda Marie Lebo Killinger.
Dennis was pastor of New Hope Church of God. He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1973. Dennis was a Vietnam veteran of the U S Army. He liked to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of forty years, Roxann Killinger of Carlisle; two daughters, Jaime Reiber (and husband, Justin) of Carlisle and Jessica Cohick (and husband, Seldon) of Newville; four grandchildren: Chase, Diven, Olivia and Sylvester; two sisters, Marlene Swigert of Carlisle and Ann Herr of Mount Holly Springs; one brother, Rodger Killinger of Mount Holly Springs; seven brothers and sisters-in-law; twelve nieces and nephews; nineteen great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Dr. Kevin Richardson officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., at Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville with full military honors. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
At the family's request, contributions may be made to Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle , PA 17013 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
