Delores O. Livingstone

Delores O. Livingstone, age 89, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg.
She was born May 12, 1928 in Garrett, IN to the late Emmett and N. Viola (Wagner) Olinger and was the widow of Harold A. Livingstone who passed June 14, 2010.
Delores retired from Capital Blue Cross after many years of service. She had formerly worked at Carlisle High School, Hall’s Motor Freight and Daily Express. She was a member of the Farm Women’s Association and The Meeting House-Carlisle Campus. She enjoyed games and puzzles, especially Rummikub with her friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Ronda L. Lehman of Carlisle; a brother, Frederick (wife Katy) Olinger of Millersburg; several nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. Lehman and a brother, Dale Olinger.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Messiah Village Chapel, 100 Mt. Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA with Pastor Debby Bentch officiating. There will be a visitation at the chapel on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family at Letort Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund at Messiah Village, 100 Mt. Allen Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 or to The Meeting House-Carlisle Campus, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
