Deborah Jean Phillips, (Native American name : Strong Feather) of Carlisle, was born on August 14, 1959, in Chicago. She liked to say she was older than the Flintstones.
She is a Middletown high school graduate (1976) then became a chef at The Radison. She loved football and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan . She enjoyed cooking, spoiling her cats, Harley Davidson rides, concerts with her brother, and adventures with her daughters.
She will be remembered by her friends and family for her witty sense of humor. On Saturday, December 31st, 2022, she passed away at her home.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jamie Phillips and Sherry Ortiz; brothers and sisters, Carolyn Hegg, Larry Lyons, Charlie Kline, Daniel Kline, Patty Taylor, and Glenda Shoemaker; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, step-father, and mother.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
